About Gleanly
Is Gleanly really free?
Yes. The Free plan costs nothing and never expires. It includes the Finance core path, the first half of Intro to the Stock Market, and Roi inside every lesson. You can sign up without a credit card. What does "education, not financial advice" mean?
Gleanly is a financial education platform. Everything we offer – financial literacy lessons, investing content, simulations, and insights – is designed to help you understand how money works, not to tell you what to do with it. We don’t make personalized recommendations, manage investments, or act as a financial advisor. Does Gleanly cover more than just investing?
Yes – and that’s by design. Gleanly covers two connected areas: financial literacy (budgeting, saving, managing debt, understanding credit, and building healthy money habits) and investing (how markets work, understanding portfolios, and practicing with a simulated real-data environment). How is Gleanly different from a brokerage app or robo-advisor?
A brokerage app lets you trade real money. A robo-advisor manages your investments for you. Gleanly does neither – we’re purely a financial education platform with simulations. Our goal is to help you build the knowledge and confidence to engage with those tools on your own terms, not to replace them.
Learning and Features
Does the trading simulator use real market data?
Yes. The simulator replays real historical market sessions one candle at a time, so you make each decision without knowing what happens next. It’s included with Basic and Pro.
Will Gleanly tell me what to invest in?
No. Gleanly is a learning platform, not an investment advisor. We’ll give you the knowledge and tools to make your own informed decisions, but we won’t tell you what to buy, sell, or hold. That’s always your call.
Does Gleanly ever use real money in the simulator?
Never. Every trade in the simulator is virtual. Real historical market data makes it feel realistic, but no real money is involved, so there’s nothing to lose.
Who is Roi?
Roi (pronounced “Roy”) is your guide inside Gleanly. He walks you through every lesson and gives you feedback after each simulator session. For now, everything Roi says is written by our team. An AI version of Roi that can answer your own questions is coming with the Pro plan.
Plans and Billing
Is there a free trial?
There’s no timed trial. The Free plan works as your trial instead: start learning at no cost, for as long as you like, with no credit card required. When you want the full investing curriculum and the trading simulator, upgrade to Basic.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes, always. There are no contracts, no cancellation fees, and no penalties. If you cancel, you’ll retain paid access through the end of your current billing period and then move to the Free plan. See our Terms of Service for full details.
Can I switch between monthly and annual billing?
Not in the middle of a subscription yet. To switch, cancel your current plan and subscribe again on the billing option you want, or email us at hello@www.gleanly.com and we’ll help. You can upgrade from Free to Basic at any time.
How much does Basic cost?
$20 a month, or $180 a year if you pay annually, which saves you 25%. Sales tax is added at checkout based on where you live.
Account and Support
Is my personal information secure?
Yes. We take your privacy seriously. Gleanly does not sell your personal data to third parties, and we use industry-standard security practices to keep your information safe. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Is Gleanly available on mobile?
Yes. Gleanly runs in your web browser on a computer or phone, so there’s nothing to download. The trading simulator is easiest to use on a larger screen, where you have more room for the chart.
What if I'm not satisfied with my paid plan?
Email us at hello@www.gleanly.com and we’ll work it out with you. You can cancel anytime and keep access through the end of your billing period. If you’re given a refund, paid access ends the day the refund is issued.
Can I use Gleanly for a team or organization?
